Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer / Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Go (Golang), PostgreSQL, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs in distributed environments.
The role requires hands-on experience with GraphQL API development, event-driven architectures, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and modern GitOps practices using tools such as FluxCD or ArgoCD. Strong proficiency in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning is essential.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions while driving best practices in software engineering, automation, and cloud-native architecture.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend applications and microservices using Go (Golang) following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Architect and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, indexing strategies, query tuning, performance optimization, and large-scale database migrations.
- Develop, enhance, and support GraphQL APIs, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and excellent consumer experience.
- Build and maintain event-driven and asynchronous systems using technologies such as Kafka, service buses, or similar messaging platforms.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on Azure (or AWS/GCP), leveraging managed services for databases, messaging, secrets management, and container registries.
- Design and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes, including deployments, networking, configuration management, autoscaling, monitoring, and resource optimization.
- Implement and manage GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines using tools such as FluxCD, ArgoCD, or equivalent platforms.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver scalable and resilient cloud-native solutions.
- Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure system reliability, availability, and efficiency.
- Enforce best practices in software development, security, observability, code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical strategy, technology selection, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Support production environments, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to improve system stability.
Skill Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Go (Golang) development with strong knowledge of idiomatic Go, concurrency patterns, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing strategies, query optimization, data modeling, and database migration activities.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining GraphQL APIs in production environments.
- Strong understanding of event-driven and asynchronous architectures using Kafka, Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred) or equivalent cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Solid knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, deployments, networking, configuration management, and workload optimization.
- Experience implementing GitOps practices using tools such as FluxCD, ArgoCD, or similar deployment platforms.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful services, and distributed systems.
- Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
- Knowledge of cloud-native security, secrets management, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
