Job Summary

To play a pivotal role in designing and implementing complex technical solutions, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices. 

Experience

  • Total Experience: 15+ years
  • Kinaxis Experience: 10+ years (end‑to‑end implementations & transformations)
  • Role Depth: Architect / Lead Designer / Technical‑Functional Authority
  • Program Type: Large global rollouts, complex landscapes, COE models

Core Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Ownership

  • Own end‑to‑end Kinaxis solution architecture across demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and S&OP/IBP.
  • Define target‑state architecture aligned to business strategy and planning maturity.
  • Drive architectural decisions covering:
    • Data model design
    • Planning logic & scenarios
    • Integration patterns
    • Performance & scalability

Design & Governance

  • Lead solution design authority across projects and operations.
  • Review and approve functional and technical designs.
  • Establish architecture standards, best practices, and governance models.
  • Ensure consistency across enhancements, rollouts, and regional deployments.

Integration & Platform Strategy

  • Own Kinaxis integration strategy with ERP and upstream/downstream systems.
  • Define data flow, latency, reconciliation, and error‑handling principles.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and platform stability.

Delivery & Transformation

  • Partner with business leaders to translate enterprise planning needs into scalable Kinaxis designs.
  • Guide delivery teams through complex implementations and upgrades.
  • Oversee UAT strategy, cutover planning, and go‑live readiness.
  • Support post‑go‑live stabilization and value realization.

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

  • Act as primary Kinaxis architectural advisor to senior stakeholders.
  • Support roadmap definition, solution evaluation, and estimations.
  • Provide thought leadership on supply chain planning transformations.

Key Responsibilities

1. To bridge the gap between client needs and business goals by gathering requirements, crafting innovative solutions with deep domain/technology expertise, and driving successful implementations that propel strategic initiatives.
2. To spearhead the architecture, design, and development (through a high-performing team) of innovative solutions for product/project & sustenance delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
3. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements
4. To review architecture and design deliverables and ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices ,architectural standards simultaneously establish and enforce governance /compliance measures.
5. To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
