Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Upgrade Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP technical and upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in S/4HANA system conversion, upgrade methodologies, and technical stack modernization, including ABAP platform, HANA database, and Fiori components. The role involves end-to-end upgrade execution, technical analysis, and integration validation with third-party tools.

 

Key Responsibilities

•  Lead end-to-end S/4HANA upgrades using SUM with DMO

•  Define upgrade strategy, sequencing, and execution roadmap

•  Plan and execute downtime optimization and cutover strategy

•  Perform Readiness Check 2.0 and Maintenance Planner analysis

•  Execute S/4, ABAP Platform, Kernel, and HANA DB upgrades

•  Manage SUM phases, logs, and upgrade issue resolution

•  Perform HANA DB upgrade, tuning, and validation

•  Monitor system via ST22, SM37, STMS, SUM logs

•  Manage transport landscape (DEV, QA, PROD synchronization)

•  Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans during upgrade

•  Coordinate SAP Cloud Connector and technical integrations

•  Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare stabilization

•  Ensure system health, performance, and stability post-upgrade

•  Collaborate with basis, infra, and technical teams for upgrade readiness

•  Drive automation in upgrade execution and monitoring
