Job Summary

SAP MM/WM & S/4HANA Supply Chain Lead

Location: India
Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE)
Role Type: SAP Supply Chain / Application Support & Transformation

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM/WM professional to support the Eaton Unity SAP landscape. The role will be responsible for ongoing support of Materials Management, Physical Inventory and classic Warehouse Management processes, while also contributing to operational improvements and the future transformation of Unity from ECC to S/4HANA.

The individual will work closely with business users, support teams, architects and other Eaton SAP teams to improve the current environment and help define the future-state solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support for SAP Materials Management (MM), Physical Inventory and classic Warehouse Management (WM) processes.
  • Manage production issues, ServiceNow incidents, enhancements and business requests through resolution.
  • Work closely with business users to understand issues and identify sustainable solutions rather than only resolving individual incidents.
  • Identify opportunities for operational excellence, process simplification, automation and continuous improvement.
  • Support assessment and planning for the future Unity ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation.
  • Analyze current Unity processes and identify opportunities to adopt S/4HANA standard capabilities and simplify existing solutions.
  • Coordinate with ESA and Aerospace SAP teams to understand existing S/4HANA solutions, standards and reusable capabilities.
  • Support architecture discussions, solution assessments, roadmap development and transformation initiatives.
  • Work with technical, integration and other functional teams on cross-functional issues and enhancements.
  • Prepare solution documentation, process flows, presentations and recommendations for business and IT stakeholders.
  • Provide proactive recommendations to improve system stability, user experience and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of SAP functional experience with strong hands-on knowledge of SAP MM.
  • Strong experience with Physical Inventory and classic SAP Warehouse Management (WM).
  • Good understanding of procurement, inventory management, material movements and related supply-chain processes.
  • Experience supporting SAP ECC production environments.
  • Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain/MM capabilities and ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation concepts.
  • Experience with S/4HANA implementation or migration programs is preferred.
  • Ability to perform process analysis and translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause-analysis skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently across business, functional, technical and architecture teams.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can go beyond traditional production support. The person should be comfortable owning the existing Unity MM/WM processes, but also be proactive in identifying improvements and helping shape the future SAP landscape.

The ideal candidate should be able to support today's ECC environment while helping us prepare for tomorrow's S/4HANA environment—working across Unity, ESA and Aerospace rather than operating only within one support area.
