Job Summary

Own end-to-end solution architecture across .NET, Java, and C/C++ estates by integrating application, web-services, database, and testing findings into a current-state view. Define the assessment blueprint, lead web-services consumer discovery integration, guide AI-assisted discovery design, assess service-change impacts, provide architectural governance, support testing-related architecture concerns, facilitate architecture reviews, and deliver architecture assessment outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end solution architecture across .NET, Java, and C/C++ estates.
Integrate application, web-services, database, and testing findings into a single current-state view.
Define the assessment blueprint, including evidence model, risk taxonomy, confidence framework, validation approach, and traceability.
Lead web-services consumer discovery integration.
Correlate service inventory, consumer register, service-to-Sybase dependencies, and downstream change impacts.
Guide the technical design of AI-assisted discovery using Fidelity-approved Copilot and LLM environments.
Define agent auto-discovery and SME validation boundaries.
Assess breaking and non-breaking service changes, shared-client risks, coexistence needs, and consumer-coordination impacts from the Sybase to SQL Server transition.
Provide architectural governance to Technical Architects, Integration Architects, Database SMEs, and GenAI Engineers on standards, patterns, and design decisions.
Advise on regression exposure, test-data implications, service-contract validation, and downstream QA impacts for consuming applications.
Facilitate client architecture workshops, executive playbacks, and decision reviews.
Deliver current-state solution and integration architecture.
Deliver service-consumer dependency assessments.
Deliver integrated risk and impact models.
Deliver high-level modernization roadmaps.
Deliver executive architecture packs.

Other Requirements

15+ years in enterprise architecture leadership.
Experience across .NET/C#, Java/Spring, and C/C++.
Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP.
Hands-on experience with WSDL/OpenAPI.
Hands-on experience with WCF/ASMX.
Hands-on experience with Web API.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering using Copilot and Claude.

Maximum Salary (US):  213000
Minimum Salary (US):  123000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
