Job Summary

Job Description:SummaryA Cerner RadNet Application Support Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the Cerner RadNet Radiology Information System (RIS) within the Cerner Millennium/Oracle Health ecosystem. The role ensures smooth radiology workflows, resolves technical and functional issues, and collaborates with clinical and IT teams to enhance system performance.Key Responsibilities1. Application Support & Issue ResolutionProvide L2 support for Cerner RadNet and integrated ancillary systems (PACS, EMR, billing, ECG/diagnostic systems).Troubleshoot incidents related to order entry, scheduling, reporting, documentation, workflow issues, and interface errors.Respond to helpdesk tickets, ensure SLA adherence, and deliver timely resolutions.2. Documentation & TrainingCreate and maintain SOPs, technical documents, and training material.3. Interface & System Integration Support (preferred)Monitor, troubleshoot, and support interfaces between RadNet and systems like PACS, Fuji Synapse, Siemens Syngo, billing systems, and ECG solutions.Understand HL7, DICOM standards, and data flows for diagnostic imaging.4. Required Qualifications & Experience3–5+ years in healthcare IT application support or Cerner application support roles.Strong, hands‑on expertise with Cerner RadNet configuration and support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze and document current business processes within the healthcare industry
2. Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement
3. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
4. Develop and implement it solutions to optimize business processes
5. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
6. Provide training and support to end-users on new processes and systems

Skill Requirements

1. Strong understanding of business processes in the healthcare industry
2. Proficiency in process mapping and analysis
3. Good communication and stakeholder management skills
4. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
5. Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards
6. Experience in it solutions implementation within healthcare settings

Other Requirements

1.Healthcare Information and Management Systems (HIMSS) certification is preferred
