Role Purpose
The role is a consulting‑led transformation role responsible for building a high‑quality pipeline and enabling revenue acceleration through early‑stage opportunity shaping, diagnostics, and value discovery.
This role operates ahead of formal sales cycles, acting as a locally credible advisor who can lead first‑level domain conversations, orchestrate deep domain expertise early, and shape multi‑tower, outcome‑led transformation opportunities.

Pipeline Creation
- Lead pre‑RFP client engagement, including diagnostics, assessments, and value‑discovery workshops across end‑to‑end business processes.
- Identify inefficiencies, control gaps, cost leakage, and transformation themes and convert them into structured, winnable opportunities.
- Create value before RFP issuance, positioning HCLTech as a transformation advisor rather than a response‑only vendor.
Opportunity Shaping & Deal Enablement
- Build and qualify a strong pipeline across ANZ and ASEAN.
- Shape opportunities to improve conversion rates, deal size, scope breadth and cross‑domain expansion.
- Accelerate revenue generation by enabling business cases; value narratives; solution architectures; proposal shaping and storytelling.
Domain & SME Orchestration
- Act as a domain orchestrator, explicitly pulling in central SMEs early in the client journey.
- Ensure domain specialists are positioned as front‑end advisors, not late‑stage solution validators.
- Translate global best practices and transformation assets into local market‑relevant conversations.
Multi‑Tower & Value Chain Coverage
- Build integrated, multi‑tower narratives at a working credibility level (e.g., Finance & Accounting, Procurement & Supply Chain, etc.).
- Enable entry‑wedge expansion, using one value chain to unlock broader enterprise transformation agendas.
Collaboration & Asset Industrialisation
- Work closely with DPO Central, Solutioning, Automation, AI and Delivery teams to ensure opportunities are scalable, executable, and industrialisable.
- Contribute to the reuse and standardisation of consulting plays, diagnostics, and domain assets.
Skill Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- 12+ years in consulting, business process transformation, domain‑led advisory, or GBS/SBS roles.
- Deep expertise in at least one value chain, preferably Finance & Accounting, with working knowledge across others.
- Strong understanding of Shared Services / GBS operating models; ERP‑enabled operations; Automation and AI‑enabled processes, controls, and productivity; Operating model transformation, i.e., redesigning workflows; AI-first operations
- Proven ability to shape opportunities early, influence senior stakeholders, and operate credibly with CXO‑level clients.
- Experience working within matrixed, global organisations, orchestrating capability across regions.
- MBA or equivalent preferred.
