Job Summary

The Technical Lead will be responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation, development, and maintenance of projects related to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting. The role involves ensuring the seamless integration of these technologies to meet business requirements effectively.

 

We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong ELT expertise to support data ingestion, transformation, and pipeline development for Data Analytics and Monitoring solutions for the Pricing Team.

Key Responsibilities

•            Develop and maintain ELT pipelines using Informatica

•            Build and manage Snowflake data views and transformations

•            Support ingestion of structured and unstructured data

•            Collaborate with senior engineers on data architecture

•            Ensure data quality and consistency across systems

Required Qualifications

•            5-8 years of experience

•            Strong experience in ETL/ELT/DBT/Snowflake or Informatica

•            Understand ETL/ELT concepts

•            Informatica & Datastage tools knowledge

•            Proficiency in SQL and data transformation

•            Experience working with data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

•            Exposure to Snowflake and cloud data platforms

•            Exposure to Datastage and Informatica tool

•            Experience in insurance data environments

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of developers and provide technical guidance and expertise in utilizing informatica intelligent cloud services, sql, oracle pl/sql, and unix shell scripting technologies.
2. Design, develop, test, and deploy etl processes using informatica intelligent cloud services.
3. Create and optimize sql queries, procedures, and functions in oracle pl/sql for data manipulation and reporting.
4. Develop and maintain unix shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and data processing tasks.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the applications or databases related to the supported technologies.
7. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and documentation practices.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data integration and cloud services.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in informatica intelligent cloud services for etl processes.
2. Strong sql skills with the ability to write complex queries for data manipulation and reporting.
3. Experience in developing and optimizing procedures and functions in oracle pl/sql.
4. Proficient in unix shell scripting for automation, monitoring, and data processing tasks.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a technical team.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and stakeholders.
8. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, or Unix Shell Scripting would be a plus.
