Job Summary

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Business Architect / Transformation Consultant to serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to executive leadership within the banking and financial services domain. This individual will lead enterprise-scale transformation initiatives, influence senior business stakeholders, drive strategic decision-making, and bridge the gap between business objectives and technology execution.

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, consulting, negotiation, and influencing skills, coupled with deep expertise in banking operations, digital transformation, mortgage, lending, retail banking, and enterprise business architecture.

This role requires regular interaction with senior executives, including C-Suite leaders, and the ability to articulate complex business and technology strategies in a compelling and persuasive manner.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Leadership

  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients and internal leadership teams.
  • Define and drive business transformation roadmaps aligned with enterprise objectives.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to shape future-state business capabilities.
  • Lead business architecture initiatives across multiple programs and portfolios.
  • Identify strategic opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business value realization.

Executive Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, product owners, technology leaders, and executive sponsors.
  • Influence business decisions through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Facilitate executive workshops, steering committees, and leadership reviews.
  • Drive consensus among multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities.
  • Represent HCLTech leadership in client-facing strategic discussions.

Business Consulting & Transformation

  • Analyze current-state business capabilities, operating models, and processes.
  • Design future-state business architectures and transformation strategies.
  • Lead business capability mapping, value stream analysis, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Develop business cases, ROI assessments, and transformation recommendations.
  • Support strategic planning and digital modernization programs.

Business Analysis Leadership

  • Lead complex requirements discovery and stakeholder workshops.
  • Define business vision, strategic goals, KPIs, and measurable outcomes.
  • Elicit requirement management, process modeling, and solution definition.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technology implementation.
  • Mentor senior business analysts and product teams.

Executive Communication & Presentation

  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations for C-Suite audiences.
  • Present transformation strategies, business cases, and program outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Communicate complex concepts with clarity, confidence, and executive presence.
  • Prepare thought leadership content, strategic proposals, and governance reports.

Negotiation & Influencing

  • Influence senior leadership decisions through strong business rationale.
  • Lead negotiations involving scope, priorities, roadmap planning, and business outcomes.
  • Resolve conflicts across business and technology stakeholder groups.

Drive alignment across multiple organizational functions and executive teams

Other Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Technology, or related discipline.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
