Job Summary

The Developer role at HCL entails working with Informatica and SQL to develop, maintain, and enhance data integration solutions. The primary responsibility is to ensure the effective utilization of Informatica and SQL to meet the organization's data processing needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement, and maintain etl processes using informatica powercenter.
2. Design and create data models and database schemas.
3. Write complex sql queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (etl) processes.
4. Collaborate within team to analyze data requirements and optimize data integration solutions.
5. Perform data profiling, validation, and cleansing to ensure data accuracy and quality.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration processes.
7. Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies related to informatica and sql.

Skill Requirements

1. Knowledge of informatica powercenter for etl development.
2. Sql programming skills for data manipulation and querying.
3. Knowledge of database concepts and data modeling.
4. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
5. Understanding of data integration and data quality processes.
6. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Good communication and team collaboration abilities.

Other Requirements

1.Informatica PowerCenter Developer certification is a plus.
