Informatica Senior Data Governance Lead - EDC, AXON, Python
Hyderabad, Telangana

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Tech Lead with strong hands-on experience in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), specifically Cloud Data Integration (CDI) . The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in PowerCenter to CDI migration. This role is critical in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

 

•              Design and implement batch and real-time data integration solutions using Informatica CDI.

•              Build and manage API-based integrations and event-driven workflows using Informatica CDI.

•              Develop and optimize ETL/ELT mappings, transformations, and task flows within the IDMC platform.

•              Integrate data from diverse sources (on-premise and cloud) into target data warehouses or applications.

•              Conduct data profiling, quality checks, and ensure data integrity across pipelines.

•              Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data and application integration.

•              Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.

•              Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed integrations and migration processes.

•              Lead and support PowerCenter to CDI migration efforts, including assessment, planning, and execution.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills:

•              2+ years of hands-on development experience with Informatica CDI.

•              Proven experience in PowerCenter to CDI migration projects.

•              Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing principles, and SQL.

•              Experience with relational databases and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

•              Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

•              Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Other Requirements

 

•              Informatica IDMC certification (CDI).

•              Experience with other IDMC services such as Cloud Data Quality (CDQ).

•              Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, and CI/CD practices for cloud data integration.

•              Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).

•              Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Confluence.
