Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud & DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, preferably on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services. The role requires strong expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Kubernetes, and Python scripting. The candidate will work closely with development, operations, and platform teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient cloud environments.

The successful candidate should possess strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, identity and access management (Entra ID), cloud networking, security principles, monitoring, and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana. The role also involves troubleshooting and resolving complex production incidents, improving platform reliability, and driving automation initiatives. Experience with enterprise data platforms, event-driven architectures, and regulated enterprise environments will be highly advantageous. The individual should be capable of supporting mission-critical workloads while contributing to cloud transformation and operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions to support automated application deployment.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Deploy, configure, and support containerized applications using Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies.
• Manage cloud identity, authentication, and access controls using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and industry-standard security protocols.
• Ensure cloud environments adhere to best practices for networking, security, governance, and platform architecture.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana to improve system reliability and performance.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and other scripting languages to streamline operational processes.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex production incidents while minimizing business impact and downtime.
• Collaborate with development, platform, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization for business-critical workloads.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives across cloud environments.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of enterprise data platforms, including Databricks and Lakehouse architectures, where applicable.
• Assist in building and maintaining event-driven architectures and cloud-based data pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, security, and regulatory requirements in enterprise environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and cloud architecture standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform efficiency and reliability.

Skill Requirements

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services and platform administration.
• Proven experience in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and automation using tools such as GitHub Actions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting containerized applications using Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security architecture, governance, and platform design principles.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills for infrastructure management and operational tasks.
• Experience managing and resolving complex production incidents, root cause analysis, and platform reliability improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks and Lakehouse Architecture.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging systems, and cloud-based data pipelines.
• Knowledge of compliance, governance, and regulatory standards in enterprise environments.
• Exposure to analytics, financial services, or trading platforms supporting business-critical workloads.
• Experience implementing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and operational excellence practices.
