Job Summary

We are looking for a Rubrik Engineer responsible for implementing, administering, and supporting Rubrik-based data protection solutions. The role focuses on backup, recovery, replication, disaster recovery, ransomware protection, and integration with on‑prem and cloud environments.\r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\nDesign, implement, and manage Rubrik CDM environments for enterprise backup and recovery\r\nConfigure backup and SLA domains for:\r\nVirtual machines (VMware / Hyper‑V)\r\nPhysical servers\r\nNAS file shares\r\nDatabases (SQL, Oracle, SAP HANA, etc.)\r\nMonitor backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform restore operations\r\nManage on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid backup solutions\r\nImplement disaster recovery (DR) and replication strategies\r\nSupport cloud integrations: Object storage (S3, Azure Blob)\r\nPerform ransomware recovery and data integrity validation\r\nApply system upgrades, patches, and firmware updates\r\nAutomate backup operations using Rubrik APIs / PowerShell\r\nIntegrate Rubrik with monitoring and ticketing tools\r\nCreate documentation and operational runbooks\r\nProvide L2/L3 support and participate in on‑call rotations\r\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\r\n\r\nStrong hands-on experience with Rubrik CDM\r\nSolid understanding of backup & recovery concepts\r\nKnowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems\r\nFamiliarity with SAN/NAS storage technologies\r\nUnderstanding of DR, RPO, RTO, and compliance requirements\r\nStrong troubleshooting and communication skills\r\nPreferred / Good-to-Have Skills\r\n\r\nRubrik Polaris (Radar, Sonar, GPS)\r\nCyber recovery and ransomware response experience\r\nKnowledge of competing tools:\r\nVeeam, Networker, Data Domain\r\nITIL process awareness\r\nRubrik certification (Rubrik Certified System Administrator- RCSA)
