Job Summary
To diagnose and resolve complex technical issues impacting business operations,facilitate root cause analysis and enhance customer feedback for support operations.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced L2 Network Engineer to support, design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, Cisco Wireless, and SD-WAN environments. The ideal candidate will serve as the highest level of technical escalation for network-related incidents and lead complex network transformation initiatives. A strong technical background combined with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills is mandatory. The candidate should be capable of leading technical discussions, presenting solutions, managing critical incidents, and collaborating effectively with global teams and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. To champion ITIL, security, and data privacy to offer high-quality, well-documented solutions, minimizing risks and maximizing customer satisfaction.
2. To provide support for complex incidents, escalated by analysts, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to resolve technical & security issues.
3. To work on value adding activities such as maintainenace of a comprehensive Knowledge base , act as a mentor to junior analysts,and deliver training programs for freshers, equipping them with essential skills to become productive .
4. To contribute to a positive customer experience and high CSAT scores by providing fast, accurate, and secure resolutions, fostering customer trust and satisfaction.
5. To proactively identify and address potential security vulnerabilities to protect customer data and prevent security incidents.
Network Operations & Support Provide L3 support for enterprise LAN, WAN, Wireless, and SD-WAN environments. Act as the final technical escalation point for complex network incidents. Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority network outages within SLA timelines. Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recommend permanent fixes. Ensure network availability, stability, performance, and security across global environments. Support 24x7 operations and participate in on-call rotations when required. Change Management & Network Implementations Plan, review, implement, and validate complex network changes. Lead network migration, upgrade, refresh, and transformation activities. Conduct impact assessments and risk analysis for planned changes. Ensure successful execution of changes with minimal business impact. Prepare implementation plans, rollback procedures, and change documentation. Critical Incident & Bridge Management Lead and drive critical network incident bridge calls (P1/P2 incidents). Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, service providers, and customers during major outages. Provide regular technical updates to leadership and stakeholders. Drive restoration activities and ensure timely service recovery. Own post-incident reviews and corrective action plans.
