Job Summary

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced L3 Linux & Virtualization Administrator with strong hands on expertise in OLVM, KVM, Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL), and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, platform stability, performance optimization, and handling L3 level escalations.

Job Description : Role Overview\\\\r\\\\nWe are looking for an experienced L3 Linux & Virtualization Administrator with strong hands on expertise in OLVM, KVM, Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL), and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, platform stability, performance optimization, and handling L3 level escalations.________________________________________\\\\r\\\\nKey Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\n• Manage and support OLVM/KVM virtualization platforms including hosts, clusters, networking, and storage.\\\\r\\\\n• Resolve complex issues related to hypervisor, oVirt, VDSM, OLVM engine, and VM operations.\\\\r\\\\n• Perform patching, upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, and performance tuning.\\\\r\\\\n• Hands on Administration and troubleshoot Oracle Linux and RHEL systems.\\\\r\\\\n• Handle kernel, filesystem, networking, and security issues at L3 level.\\\\r\\\\n• Automate operational tasks using Bash, Python, or Ansible.\\\\r\\\\n• Work with storage systems (iSCSI, NFS, SAN) and multipathing configurations.\\\\r\\\\n• Ensure system hardening, compliance, and security best practices.\\\\r\\\\n• Support P1/P2 escalations and contribute to RCA and permanent fixes.________________________________________\\\\r\\\\nRequired Skills\\\\r\\\\n• Strong experience in OLVM/OVM/oVirt and KVM hypervisor.\\\\r\\\\n• Solid knowledge of OEL (6–9) and RHEL (7–9).\\\\r\\\\n• Expertise in Linux troubleshooting, performance tuning, and diagnostics.\\\\r\\\\n• Experience with Ansible, Bash, Python scripting.\\\\r\\\\n• Good understanding of storage, networking, and virtualization concepts.________________________________________\\\\r\\\\nPreferred Qualifications\\\\r\\\\n• RHCE\\\\r\\\\n• Oracle Linux OCA/OCP\\\\r\\\\n• Virtualization or Linux related certifications.
