Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven FinOps Practitioner (L2) with proven experience in cloud financial management, cost optimization, governance, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Flexera One and strong knowledge of FinOps best practices across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments. The role involves identifying optimization opportunities, generating business insights, managing cloud spend visibility, and supporting chargeback/showback processes.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Cost Management & Optimization

  • Monitor and analyze cloud spend across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through rightsizing, reserved instances, savings plans, and resource cleanup.
  • Track cloud consumption trends and provide optimization recommendations.
  • Perform cost variance analysis and support budget management activities.

Flexera Administration & Reporting

  • Configure and manage Flexera dashboards, reports, and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain custom cost reports for business stakeholders.
  • Manage cloud inventory visibility and resource utilization reporting.
  • Support anomaly detection and cost alert configurations within Flexera.

Governance & Financial Operations

  • Ensure adherence to cloud governance and tagging policies.
  • Validate allocation tags and support cost allocation mechanisms.
  • Assist with showback and chargeback reporting processes.
  • Monitor compliance with FinOps standards and organizational policies.

Forecasting & Business Insights

  • Support monthly forecasting and budgeting activities.
  • Prepare executive summaries, dashboards, and cloud financial reports.
  • Analyze trends and provide actionable recommendations to engineering and business teams.
  • Participate in cost review meetings and optimization workshops.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Cloud Operations, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Business teams.
  • Coordinate with application owners to implement optimization recommendations.
  • Track realization of savings and maintain optimization trackers.

Skill Requirements

FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) certification.Hands-on experience with Flexera One.Experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP billing and cost management.
