Job Summary

Job Summary : Project : Nokia Type of Position : Full time Track : Middleware Application support General Description Responsibilities :- - Adhering to SLAs - ITIL Processes awareness and adhering to - Reporting to the Track Lead / Team Lead - Helping team members in case of Issues/Technical Problems - Handling tickets / requests - Troubleshooting technical issues - Ensuring that the processes are adhered to - Understanding of Multi-geo support environment - Responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration - Responsible in troubleshooting and resolving the issues - Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA - Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction - 24x7 operation support - Knowledge on multiple OS platforms (Wintel / Linux / Unix etc ) - Vendor co-ordination & followup Technical Requirement for L3  6+ years of working experience in application environments and has extensive hands-on experience in the below mentioned technologies o Middleware Administration: Required skills : Apache / Tomcat/ Weblogic / Websphere / Sunone iPlanet Web/App server Desirable skill : IIS knowledge OS Skill : Middleware support on Linux / Unix / Wintel platforms Middleware skill  Expertise on administering Apache / Tomcat / Sunone iPlanet web servers  Knowledge of J2EE environment  Understanding/Expertise of JavaBeans and servlets  Hands-on experience of working in Windows ,Linux or Unix or Solaris etc plstforms  Hands-on experience on iPlanet installation and configuration.  Hands on Experience in Weblogic Installation / configuration / troubleshooting  Experience in application deployments.  Experience in Release / Build management activities.  Configuration of data Sources  SSL certs installation  Stop / Start of App / Web servers.  Experience working with change management tools.  Proactive Management of application and working on managing Availability, performance and capacity of the underlying systems  Experience on patch implementations in Apache / Tomcat / Weblogic / IIS /iPlanet  Excellent troubleshooting knowledge in Apache /Tomcat / Weblogic /IIS/ iPlanet serrvers. Soft skills - Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) - Good documentation skills - Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE - Should have a great customer handling skills - Able to handle unforeseen situations - High level of acceptance - Can drive HCL’s value and its methodology For L3 Resource : Experience : 9+ year of experience. Technical Skillset : • Other than what is mentioned for L2 • Installation and configuration of Apache / Tomcat / IIS webservers • Installation configuration of Websphere/ Weblogic / Jboss application server / IIS • Knowledge on iPlanet would be an added advantage. • SSL certs installation / procurement / for Intermediate /advance / root • Knowledge on Load balancing / failover configuration on App servers Certifications : Relevant certifications ( Not Mandatory ) Educational Qualification: Batchelor / Master / Equivalent
