Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced ServiceNow Developer with 7.5+ years of ServiceNow developer experience and strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, ITSM, HRSD, and integrations. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable ServiceNow solutions, supporting enterprise IT and HR processes, and ensuring seamless integrations with third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications in line with business requirements.
  • Implement and support ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB.
  • Develop and enhance ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog Management.
  • Configure and customize HRSD modules including HR Case Management, Employee Center, and HR workflows.
  • Design and build integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, APIs, and MID Servers.
  • Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer workflows.
  • Ensure CMDB data accuracy, health, and governance best practices.
  • Participate in requirement discussions, technical design, solution walkthroughs, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, defect analysis, and production support.
  • Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and continuous platform improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards, security practices, and performance optimization.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITOM, ITSM, and HRSD modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of:
    • Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management
    • CMDB and CMDB governance
    • ITSM core processes and Service Catalog
    • HRSD Case Management and Employee Center
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow Integrations using:
    • REST / SOAP APIs
    • IntegrationHub (Spokes & Actions)
    • MID Server configuration and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, and Service Portal.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Other Requirements

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in ServiceNow development.
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • ServiceNow Certifications:
  • Experience with Employee Center, Virtual Agent, and advanced integrations.
  • Prior experience working with global stakeholders and large delivery teams.
