Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow IT Asset Management Lead with 6+ years of experience to drive our ITAM initiatives and lead a team of ServiceNow professionals. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ServiceNow configurations, customizations, scripting, and end‑to‑end IT Asset Management processes. This role requires strong leadership abilities, hands‑on technical proficiency, and a passion for building scalable, automated ITAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Delivery Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow ITAM developers, analysts, and administrators. Drive end-to-end delivery of ITAM solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, finance, operations, and ITSM stakeholders. Ensure adherence to ITIL, governance, and change management processes. ServiceNow ITAM Expertise Own and manage the implementation of Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management

Skill Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience working with ServiceNow, with at least 5 years in IT Asset Management.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow configuration, customization, and scripting (server/client-side JavaScript).
  • Deep understanding of HAM/SAM Pro, CMDB, Discovery, and service workflows.
  • Proven team-leading experience with ability to guide developers and analysts.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and MID Server.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow CIS – ITAM / HAM / SAM
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)

Other Requirements

ServiceNow ITAM Expertise Own and manage the implementation of Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and related modules. Configure and customize Asset Management, CMDB classes, workflows, lifecycle events, and automation rules. Design data models, CI class structures, asset attributes, and reconciliation logic. Drive improvements in asset lifecycle processes—from procurement to retirement. Technical Engineering & Scripting Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Transform Maps, and custom automation routines. Utilize GlideRecord, GlideAjax, Flow Designer, and advanced JavaScript for custom development. Create catalog items, service workflows, notifications, and integrations. Troubleshoot performance issues, scripts, and custom configurations. Integrations & Data Quality Build and maintain integrations with third‑party discovery, inventory, and asset systems (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Jamf, Tanium). Implement automated data reconciliation, normalization, and asset data cleanup processes. Ensure high data accuracy across CMDB and Asset tables.
