Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated FinOps professional to drive cloud financial management, cost optimization, governance, and cloud spend transparency across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI). The candidate will work closely with Cloud, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Business teams to provide visibility into cloud consumption, improve cost efficiency, and establish FinOps best practices. This role requires strong analytical skills, cloud cost management expertise, and the ability to translate cloud usage data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Cost Management

  • Monitor and analyze cloud spend across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI environments.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports and dashboards.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend optimization actions.
  • Track utilization trends and investigate spend anomalies.

Cost Optimization

  • Drive rightsizing, reserved instance/savings plan optimization, and idle resource cleanup.
  • Recommend resource scheduling and storage optimization strategies.
  • Monitor commitment-based discounts and cloud consumption patterns.
  • Track savings realized through optimization initiatives.
  • FinOps Governance

    Reporting & Analytics

    • Develop executive dashboards and KPI reporting.
    • Analyze cloud billing and usage data for actionable insights.
    • Track metrics such as cost per application, cost per transaction, utilization efficiency, and forecast accuracy.
    • Present findings to technical and business stakeholders.

Skill Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Cloud FinOps principles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI cost management.
  • Knowledge of Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, CUDs, and cloud pricing models.
  • Experience with cloud billing and cost reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and data analysis.
