Job Summary

Azure PaaS & AKS Administrator responsible for managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting Azure Platform Services and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments. The role involves ensuring platform availability, deployment support, container orchestration monitoring, incident resolution, and operational excellence across cloud-native workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Azure PaaS Administration

  • Manage and support Azure App Services, Function Apps, Logic Apps, API Management, and Storage Services.
  • Monitor platform health, performance, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot application hosting, connectivity, authentication, and performance issues.
  • Support scaling, backup, and recovery activities for PaaS services.
  • Manage Azure Key Vault integration and certificate renewals.

AKS Operations & Administration

  • Monitor and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters.
  • Support node pool administration, scaling, and workload deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot pod failures, container restart issues, ingress problems, and cluster health alerts.
  • Support AKS upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
  • Manage Kubernetes namespaces, deployments, services, and configuration updates.
  • Work with Azure Container Registry (ACR) for container image lifecycle management.
