Lead Administrator (Tools & Automation)

Job Summary

To diagnose and resolve complex technical issues impacting business operations,facilitate root cause analysis and enhance customer feedback for support operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning software system upgrades and changes
  •  
  • Performing DISK Migration
  • Performing Tape migration
  • backup / Restore using different utilities and tools.
  • initializing volumes
  • D/R tests
  • Space management
  • Availability management
  • Performance problems
  • Full management of sandboxes
  • Snow, ITIL process -incident, change, request handling
  • Knowledge on OPC
  • Handling Space and hardware issues.
  •  
  • Review, analyze, and resolve problems.
  • Apply problem-solving skills sufficient to independently perform fault isolation and initiate corrective action.
  • Ability to spot unresolved software anomalies and report to the team leader and the appropriate vendor.

  • JCL Utilities
  • Sysview
  • Participate in transition projects for new customers

Skill Requirements

  • Have Knowledge in DASD, Tape, DFHSM, DFRMM, DFSMS, ISMF
  • FDRABR
  • Experience on CA products, CA-Vantage, CA-1, CA DISK
  • Catalog tools.
  • Good knowledge on SMS classes and ACS routines
  • Programming: REXX, JCL
  • z/OS knowledge, skills, routines
  •
