Job Summary

The Lead Business Analyst at HCL will be responsible for overseeing data analysis, business analysis, and Agile methodology to drive business objectives and improvements. They will play a key role in understanding business needs, analyzing data, and implementing Agile strategies for effective project management.

Key Responsibilities

Drive business workshops with channels, core systems' and other stakeholders to gather business requirements for developing the product / project backlog in the payments domain

§ Prepare user stories / functional specification document and ensure completeness

§ Conduct walkthrough’ sessions with business stakeholders to clarify and confirm user stories / functional specification document

§ Prepare and / or aid the preparation of test cases in line with user stories / functional specifications

§ Provide clarifications to the development and testing team as and when required

Skill Requirements

7 – 10 years of relevant experience and hands on knowledge in core payments processing for retail and corporate banking customers

§ Exposure to payments processing and clearing systems from multiple geographies is highly desirable.

§ Hands on expertise in payment messages such as SWIFT, ISO20022

§ Hands on expertise in at least one leading payments processing products such as Fundtech GPP, FIS Clear2Pay, Dovetail, Volante etc. is highly desirable

§ Knowledge and experience in requirements engineering – requirements elicitation, requirements elaboration, requirement analysis, requirement translation, requirement documentation, requirement communication

§ Assist in defining the business problem and the business solution in line with appropriate best practice, governance standards and methodologies

§ Exposure to agile ways of working

§ A good understanding of service oriented architecture, including concepts around API, Micro-Services etc. is highly desirable

§ Excellent good oral and written communication skills
