About this team
Xstore POS application is a complex application and requires specialized knowledge to support it. It is one of the most complex applications and the knowledge of this system is gained only by working on this application over years. Given most of our markets are on X17 software, there is a need to have someone in a lead systems analyst role to analyze technology systems and related processes for new feature implementation and design improvements.
Experience and Skillset
• Translates business requirements to functional and technical requirements
• Defines minimum feature set, acceptance criteria, user acceptance tests
• Engages in design and impact assessments
• Contributes to planning and implementation for new applications and systems
• Performs configuration of application components
• Engages with engineers to design/configure solutions
• Assists in testing and participates in test phases prior to UAT
• Updates technical specs based on testing and post-release lessons learned
• Supports communication for application/system deployment
• Ensures application availability and SLAs for operational readiness
Qualifications
• 3+ years systems analysis experience
• Experience creating technical specifications for large, complex projects
• Knowledge of project lifecycle methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)
• Experience with application configuration and implementation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, AWS services and architecture
• Experience with Unix/Linux-based systems, J2EE application servers, clustered DB systems
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Key Responsibilities
2. To analyze available options, considering feasibility, cost, and alignment with business requirements and suggest solutions.
3. To participate and facilitate the walkthroughâ to brief the functional specification mapping to business requirements.
4. To prepare and / or aid the preparation of test cases in line with functional requirements
5. Tackle complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.
