Job Summary

Job Title: Business Functional Analyst – Banking Data
Experience: 10–12 Years (Mandatory Banking/Finance domain)

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Functional Analyst with strong expertise in banking data structures and data warehousing. The role involves supporting analysis and integration efforts related to deposit systems, with a focus on Tagesgeld (deposit operations).

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document data structures and business requirements across systems
  • Work closely with DWH and DWH Belieferung processes to ensure accurate data flow
  • Support data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities
  • Perform hands-on analysis using SAS on mainframe systems
  • Collaborate with business, technical teams, and external stakeholders

Required Skills

  • 10–12 years of experience in Banking/Financial Services (mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Data structures and data analysis
    • Data Warehousing (DWH) and DWH Belieferung
  • Experience in deposit products (Tagesgeld preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with SAS on mainframe
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

Language: German – atleast C1

Key Responsibilities

1. To conduct in-depth analysis to understand client needs, challenges, and opportunities, translating them into clear and concise functional specifications.
2. To analyze available options, considering feasibility, cost, and alignment with business requirements and suggest solutions.
3. To participate and facilitate the walkthrough’ to brief the functional specification mapping to business requirements.
4. To prepare and / or aid the preparation of test cases in line with functional requirements
5. Tackle complex business problems and develop innovative solutions.
