Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) expertise to support the Mosaic Project. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, data teams, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. The ideal candidate should be capable of facilitating requirement workshops, driving discussions, creating and managing Jira stories, and ensuring requirements are clearly translated into actionable deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document RCM business processes, workflows, and requirements.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Lead requirement discussions and facilitate meetings across cross-functional teams.
  • Create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, and user stories.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed Jira Epics, Features, Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Manage and maintain Jira backlog, ensuring requirements are prioritized and properly documented.
  • Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Data Analysts, and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
  • Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Analyze RCM data requirements related to Patient Access, Claims, Billing, Payments, Denials, Collections, and Financial Reporting.
  • Perform impact analysis and identify dependencies, risks, and gaps in requirements.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate delivered functionality against business expectations.
  • Track action items, decisions, and project deliverables to ensure timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with at least 3 years in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes including:
    • Patient Registration
    • Insurance Verification
    • Charge Capture
    • Claims Management
    • Denial Management
    • Payment Posting
    • Accounts Receivable (AR) Management
    • Collections and Revenue Reporting
  • Experience creating and managing Jira Stories, Epics, Tasks, and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience conducting requirement workshops and managing business discussions independently.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with healthcare data platforms and analytics initiatives.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, data warehousing, and healthcare data models.
  • Prior experience in payer or provider healthcare organizations.
