Job Summary
• Minimum 8 years of PS functional experience including direct client-facing roles
• At least 2 end-to-end implementation experience in SAP S/4 HANA Project Systems module preferable delivered using SAP Activate methodology & Solution Manager. SAP S/4HANA Certified
• Hands-on experience in conversion projects of SAP ECC to Suite on Hana (SoH) or SAP S/4 HANA having scenarios handled like landscape transformation, Merging, harmonizing global templates
• Sound knowledge in SAP S/4 HANA Simplification list, BSR reporting, pre-checks and post checks conversion activities during SAP ECC to Suite on Hana (SoH) or SAP S/4 HANA
• Sound knowledge in design, implementing, and deploying SAP S/4 HANA solutions to achieve defined business goals using standard and custom FIORI apps
• Sound in effective requirement gathering, best practices, gap analysis, solution design, BBP documentation, sign off and trainings with Core team
• Hand-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA configuring, implementing, and supporting the SAP Project System (PS) module to manage project planning, execution, and budgeting. Responsibilities include defining project structures like Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and networks, handling cost and resource planning, integrating with other SAP modules (FI, CO, MM), and providing end-user training and support
• Knowledge on Agile, managing sprints and Activate methodology will add an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement-gathering and business-process workshops with project, engineering, finance, procurement, maintenance, and operations stakeholders.
- Perform Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap analysis and translate business requirements into SAP PS solutions.

- Support project planning, execution, monitoring, capitalization, settlement, and technical/business closure processes.
2. SAP S/4HANA Implementation
- Participate in end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Greenfield and Brownfield implementations.
- Support solution design, configuration, functional specifications, testing, cutover, deployment, hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Assess existing SAP PS processes during Brownfield conversions and identify remediation or redesign requirements.
- Support master-data and transactional-data migration activities relevant to SAP PS.
- Work with technical teams on interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, and reports.
3. Integration
The consultant should have strong understanding of SAP PS integration with:
- SAP FI/CO: project costs, budgeting, allocations, settlement and financial reporting.
- SAP MM: project procurement, purchase requisitions/orders and material consumption.
- SAP SD: customer projects, billing-related scenarios and revenue processes where applicable.
- SAP PM/EAM: maintenance and project-related integration scenarios.
- SAP Asset Accounting: Asset Under Construction (AuC), capitalization and settlement.
- SAP PP: integration for relevant manufacturing/project scenarios.
