Job Summary


seeking an experienced SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant (6 to 8 Years) with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA development and modern ABAP technologies. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and optimizing SAP applications using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, and SAP Fiori technologies. The role requires close collaboration with functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance SAP solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. To design and develop new tools as per the client’s requirements and/ customize the existing tools.
2. To lead the technical design , ensuring alignment with business requirements, industry standards, and best practices, while determining the optimal configuration of modules, databases, interfaces, and integrations to support business processes.
3. To prepare capability presentations| assessments| proposal preparation.
4. To coordinate project management related activities like creating project plans, allocating resources, and coordinating activities among team members and stakeholders.
5. To support the professional growth and development of the consulting team members by training, and mentorship.

 

 

  • Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP solutions across S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Develop and enhance RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows).
  • Build and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, OData Services, and HANA-optimized programs.
  • Develop custom Fiori applications and integrate backend services.
  • Perform ABAP code remediation and adaptation during ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
  • Work on Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Enhancement Framework.
  • Develop and support Interfaces using IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services.
  • Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and SQL optimization for HANA databases.
  • Participate in S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, rollout, and support projects.
  • Prepare technical specifications, unit test cases, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants across MM, SD, FICO, PP, WM, and other SAP modules.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure best practices.
