Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA Business Process Validation (BPV) initiatives in an offshore delivery model. The role focuses on configuring, validating, and governing Master Data objects to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP S/4HANA MDG BPV activities across master data domains.
• Configure and validate SAP MDG for Customer Master Data and Business Partner objects.
• Support governance and validation for GL, Cost Center, and Profit Center master data.
• Design and validate MDG data models, workflows, validations, and approval processes.
• Ensure data quality through checks, derivations, and duplicate prevention.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and integration teams for end‑to‑end master data processes.
• Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and BPV cycles related to MDG objects.
• Support data migration, data cleansing, reconciliation, and validation activities.
• Identify, log, and support resolution of MDG‑related defects and data issues.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, audit, and compliance standards.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, test evidence, and status reports.
• Support cutover, go‑live, and post‑go‑live stabilization activities.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience in SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with Customer Master Data and Business Partner configuration.
• Good knowledge of GL, Cost Center, and Profit Center master data.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA testing cycles (SIT, UAT, Regression).
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and validation principles.
• Ability to analyze and resolve master data and workflow issues.
• Good communication and coordination skills for offshore delivery.

Preferred / Good to Have

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA BPV or transformation programs.
• Knowledge of MDG data migration and integration concepts.
• Exposure to MDG consolidation, mass processing, or data replication.
• Familiarity with SAP testing and defect management tools.

Experience

• 7–9+ years of relevant SAP MDG experience (aligned to E2.2 band).

2. To perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client-specific solutions
3. To coordinate with Internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective deliver of client specific solution
4. To design,structure and deliver reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience
5. To cultivate successful customer relationships
