Lead Consultant(Product/Domain)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP monitoring solutions to support implementation, optimization, and operational excellence across SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in system monitoring, alerting, root cause analysis, and end-to-end SAP application lifecycle management in both on-premise and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement, configure, and support SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Solution Manager solutions.
  • Manage and maintain system, interface, and business process monitoring across SAP landscapes.
  • Configure and support monitoring scenarios for SAP systems, including availability, performance, job monitoring, and integration monitoring.
  • Work with technical and functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve incidents and performance issues.
  • Support end-to-end application lifecycle management, including operations, deployment, and test management.
  • Set up dashboards, alerts, notifications, and reporting within Cloud ALM and Solution Manager.
  • Perform root cause analysis for system issues and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Assist in implementation of SAP monitoring best practices and standardized support processes.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, BASIS, security, and application teams to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Support upgrade, migration, and transformation projects involving SAP cloud and hybrid landscapes.
  • Document technical configurations, operational procedures, and support processes.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to support teams and stakeholders.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Proven experience with SAP Solution Manager modules such as:
    • Monitoring and Alerting Infrastructure
    • System Monitoring
    • Business Process Monitoring
    • Job Monitoring
    • Interface Monitoring
    • Test Suite / Test Management
  • Solid background in SAP monitoring, operations, and incident management.
  • Experience with SAP landscapes involving SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP Fiori, SAP CPI/PI/PO, or related technologies.
  • Good understanding of SAP BASIS operations and system administration concepts.
  • Experience with system health checks, performance monitoring, and alert troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and integration with SAP monitoring platforms.
  • Knowledge of AppDynamic tool is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Other Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP certification in Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, or related SAP technologies.
  • Experience supporting hybrid SAP environments.
  • Exposure to SAP migration projects, including ECC to S/4HANA transformation.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with automation, scripting, or integration tools is a plus.

 

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP operations, monitoring, or technical consulting.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM and/or SAP Solution Manager preferred.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
