Location: Onsite – Canada

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to support a SAP S/4HANA Business Process Validation (BPV) New Project in an onsite Canada delivery model. The role focuses on SAP MDG design, configuration, and validation across key master data domains, ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance compliance within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP MDG activities as part of the SAP S/4 BPV program, covering design, configuration, and validation.
  • Design, configure, and support SAP MDG for Customer Master, Business Partner, GL, Cost Center, and Profit Center objects.
  • Implement and support data governance frameworks, validations, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and integration teams to ensure end‑to‑end master data alignment.
  • Support SIT, UAT, and regression testing related to MDG and master data processes.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into MDG functional designs and configurations.
  • Support data migration, data harmonization, and data validation activities during BPV cycles.
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, audit, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare functional documentation, test evidence, and provide support during go‑live and post‑go‑live phases.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years of SAP experience with strong hands‑on expertise in SAP MDG on SAP S/4HANA.
  • Proven experience in Customer Master Data and Business Partner configuration.
  • Good functional knowledge of GL, Cost Center, and Profit Center master data objects.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA BPV / testing cycles including SIT and UAT.
  • Strong understanding of master data governance, data quality, and validation principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, suitable for onsite customer interaction.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation or BPV programs.
  • Exposure to data migration tools and integration concepts.
  • Experience working with global delivery teams.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • SAP MDG certification is an added advantage.

1. To develop and deliver ,detailed solutions through consulting project activities
2. To perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client-specific solutions
3. To coordinate with Internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective deliver of client specific solution
4. To design,structure and deliver reports and presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience
5. To cultivate successful customer relationships
