Job Summary
A Junior SAP Release Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of SAP system releases across development, testing, and production environments. The role ensures that SAP changes, enhancements, and fixes are deployed in a controlled, compliant, and low-risk manner while collaborating with functional, technical, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and scheduling SAP releases, transports, and deployments.
• Coordinate with SAP developers, functional consultants, testing teams, and business stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage SAP transport requests across landscapes (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD).
• Support release governance, change management, and compliance processes.
• Track release activities, risks, dependencies, and deployment readiness.
• Maintain release documentation, deployment calendars, and status reports.
• Participate in testing validation, post-release monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL, Change Management, and SAP best practices.
Skill Requirements
• Basic understanding of SAP landscapes, transport management, and release processes.
• Familiarity with change management and incident management practices.
• Knowledge of tools such as SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, JIRA, ServiceNow, is advantageous.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
