Job Summary
SAP BW HANA with SLT Consultant | 6+ Years Experience
Core Skills
- SAP BW 7.x / BW on HANA / BW/4HANA
- SAP HANA Modeling (Attribute, Analytic, Calculation Views)
- SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation) Replication
- Data Extraction and Replication from SAP ECC/S/4HANA
- ODP, ODP-SLT, ODP-CDS, DataSources, Extractors
- BEx Query Designer, BEx Analyzer, Web Intelligence
- ADSO, Composite Provider, Open ODS Views, InfoObjects
- Process Chains and Data Load Monitoring
- ABAP for BW (Enhancements, Routines, Customer Exits)
- SAP HANA SQL and Performance Optimization
- Data Modeling, ETL Design, Data Warehousing Concepts
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration exposure (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop BW/HANA data models and reporting solutions.
- Configure and support real-time data replication using SAP SLT. SLT is commonly used for real-time replication from SAP source systems into HANA and BW environments.
- Develop and maintain DataSources, Transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.
- Create HANA Calculation Views and optimize query performance.
- Implement BW Extractors, ODP-based extraction, and data integration solutions. ODP, CDS Views, and BW Extractors are key extraction methods in BW/HANA landscapes.
- Troubleshoot load failures, performance issues, and data reconciliation challenges.
- Support migration and upgrade activities involving BW on HANA and BW/4HANA. BW/4HANA is optimized for SAP HANA and supports advanced modeling and enterprise reporting scenarios.
Experience Required
- 5+ years in SAP BW/BW on HANA projects.
- Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience with SAP SLT replication.
- Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA integration.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data warehousing and reporting.
Preferred Certifications
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BW/4HANA
- SAP HANA Modeling Certification
