Senior SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) Consultant
Role Summary -
Experienced SAP BusinessObjects Consultant responsible for delivering enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions. The role partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to design, develop, optimize, and support SAP BO reporting environments while ensuring high user satisfaction and data quality.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze reporting requirements with business stakeholders and SMEs.
• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BusinessObjects reports, dashboards, and universes.
• Create Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports using best-practice reporting standards.
• Configure filters, variables, prompts, calculations, drill-downs, and KPIs.
• Perform universe design, enhancement, and maintenance using IDT and UDT.
• Support testing, defect resolution, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
• Optimize report performance and drive reporting standardization.
• Deliver user training and knowledge transfer activities.
Skill Requirements
• 5+ years of BI/analytics experience with strong SAP BusinessObjects expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP BO, WebI, Crystal Reports, IDT, and UDT.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of RDBMS, Data Warehousing, ER and Dimensional Modeling.
• Experience with Data Marts, Fact & Dimension Tables, and report performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira, and testing tools.
• Exposure to Tableau and/or Power BI is highly desirable.
