Job Summary

Position Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Developer to support and enhance our SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) implementation. This role is part of the MDG AMS (Application Management Services) team and focuses primarily on incident resolution and production support. When capacity allows, the role also includes development work requiring strong expertise in customizing MDG UI and workflows using BRF+ and ABAP, as well as implementing system enhancements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

As part of MDG operational support, address tickets, mails from MDG end users that may require clarifying doubts about system behavior, helping with defect fixes, issue resolution, as needed, in a timely manner. 

Based on bandwidth left after addressing end user tickets, take up enhancements from the backlog. The enhancements’ development activities will be covered by the following points -  

Customize and enhance the MDG UI and workflow logic using BRF+ and ABAP. 

Analyze and implement enhancements to the existing MDG solution based on evolving business needs. 

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design, develop, and test scalable solutions. 

Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities. 

Ensure compliance with data governance standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 

Required Qualifications: 

3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP MDG, including enhancement and support of live systems. 

Strong expertise in BRF+ for workflow customization and rule-based logic. 

Proficient in ABAP development, including BADIs, user exits, and enhancement frameworks. 

Experience with MDG UI modeling, validations, and derivations. 

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a production environment. 

Strong communication (written as well as verbal) and collaboration skills.
