Job Description – SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / SAP EAM (OP & RP)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Consultant with strong hands-on experience in EAM Operational Planning (OP) and EAM Resource Planning (RP). The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, support, and optimization of maintenance and asset management processes across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP PM / EAM implementations including OP and RP functionalities.
• Configure and manage SAP EAM Operational Planning (maintenance planning, scheduling, capacity planning).
• Configure and support SAP EAM Resource Planning including workforce planning, work centers, and capacity evaluation.
• Design and optimize preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance processes.
• Manage equipment, functional locations, task lists, maintenance plans, and measurement points.
• Integrate SAP EAM with MM, FI/CO, PS, and other SAP modules.
• Support work order lifecycle management including notifications, confirmations, and technical completion.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP EAM solutions.
• Provide production support, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for enhancements.
• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
• Train end users and prepare user manuals and process documentation.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance KPIs, asset performance metrics, and reporting requirements.

Skill Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance / SAP EAM.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP EAM Operational Planning (OP).
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP EAM Resource Planning (RP).
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and capacity planning.
• Experience in configuration of SAP PM/EAM master data and processes.
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM and FI/CO.
• Experience in AMS support and/or implementation projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA EAM.
• Exposure to SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) or Predictive Maintenance.
• Experience with Fiori apps for EAM.
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Utilities, Oil & Gas, or Engineering.
• Knowledge of GIS, mobile maintenance, or third-party maintenance tools.

Other Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent. MBA or SAP certification is an added advantage.
