Job Summary

SAP Fiori Consultant responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications, ensuring seamless integration with backend SAP systems, and supporting UI-driven business processes in ECC/S4HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Fiori/UI5 Development
Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications using:
SAP UI5 (HTML5, JavaScript, XML)
Build custom Fiori apps and extend standard apps
Configure and manage:
Fiori Launchpad (FLP)
Catalogs, groups, roles

Integration with Backend (Core Requirement)
Integrate Fiori apps with SAP backend using:
OData Services
SAP Gateway
Work closely with ABAP team for:
Service creation
Performance optimization

Enhancements & Customization
Enhance standard SAP Fiori applications
Perform UI customization based on business requirements
Implement responsive and user-friendly UI designs
Incident & Support (AMS context if applicable)

Handle L2/L3 production support issues related to Fiori apps
Debug UI/backend integration issues
Ensure SLA adherence for incidents


5️⃣ Performance & Optimization

Analyze app performance issues
Optimize UI5 code and backend calls
Improve load time and responsiveness


6️⃣ Testing & Deployment

Support:

Unit Testing
Integration Testing
UAT
Assist in transport and deployment activities
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with:
Functional consultants
ABAP developers
Business users
Gather UI/UX requirements and provide solutions

Skill Requirements

Strong experience in SAP Fiori / SAP UI5 developmentHands-on experience in:
  • OData Services
  • SAP Gateway
Knowledge of:
  • HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
Experience in Fiori Launchpad configuration
