Job Summary
A GW PC Configuration Lead is expected to carry out the following
- Requirement Elicitation
- Participate in workshops
- Prepare Design documents.
- Software Configuration management. Create,tag and Merge branch.
- Build and deliver application to various environments.
- Prepare MPP. Assign tasks. Track Status. Use metrics to monitor the stream level Non compliances.
- Prepare Design documents.
- Write Pseudo code
- Customizing the Guidewire Product
- Data Model Development
- Business Logic (Rules) Development
- PCF Screen ( User Interface) Development
- LOB Mapping
- Localization for different Locales
- Development using Gosu for Classes and Enhancement
- Prepare UTC and perform unit testing.
- Perform peer review
- Mentor Junior developers
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the implementation of guidewire policy center solutions.
2. Gather and analyze business requirements to design and develop guidewire software configurations.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful integration and deployment of guidewire applications.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team throughout the software development lifecycle.
5. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of guidewire systems to ensure optimal performance.
6. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in guidewire software solutions.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong expertise in guidewire policy center configuration and customization.
2. Proficiency in guidewire data model, rules, and integration technologies.
3. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within guidewire platform.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.
Other Requirements
1.Guidewire certification in PolicyCenter will be a plus.
