Lead Consultant - SAP ABAP

Job Summary

We are looking for a SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant to support development and AMS activities in the LAM program. The role involves working on S/4HANA-based ABAP development, enhancements, and L2/L3 support with strong expertise in modern HANA-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 AMS support for SAP ABAP on HANA applicationsDesign, develop, and support RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)Develop and enhance applications using:
    • CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services
    Work on SAP HANA-based performance optimization and code pushdown techniquesHandle interfaces using RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, Web Services
  • Implement enhancement techniques (BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework)
  • Support integration with Fiori/UI5 applications and backend servicesTroubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Collaborate with functional teams for technical design and solutioning
  • Participate in testing (SIT/UAT) and deployment cyclesEnsure code quality, documentation, and compliance with standards

Skill Requirements

6–10 years of SAP experience with strong focus on ABAP on HANA / S/4HANAHands-on expertise in:
  • ABAP RICEFW objects
  • CDS Views, AMDP, OData
Strong experience in:
  • Performance tuning and debugging
  • ABAP enhancements (BADI, User Exits)
Experience in SAP integration (RFC, BAPI, IDoc, Web Services)Exposure to Fiori integration concepts
Experience in AMS / Production Support environment
Knowledge of ticketing tools (ServiceNow)

Other Requirements

1. Sap Certified Development Associate Abap With Sap Netweaver (Optional But Valuable).
2. Sap Certified Application Associate Sap S/4Hana For Financial Accounting Associates (Optional But Valuable).
