Job Summary

Key Technical Skills:

·       Proficient in Transact SQL (T-SQL), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) & SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Knowledge of the inner working of SQL Server is an advantage.

·       Ownership of reviewing code implemented by the team to ensure it is robust, testable, and maintainable.

·       Proficient in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) with a strong focus on the multi-dimensional model. Experience with the tabular model is also advantageous.  Ideally you will have been involved in designing large scale cubes, as well as maintaining them.

·       Thorough understanding of developing and deploying to a Route-to-Live and Production environments with a DevOps mindset.

·       Advanced skill in in debugging and performance tuning with understanding of extended events, DMVs execution plans, database statistics etc.

·       Expertise in using GIT as Source Control Management tool.

·       Table/index design and Query Optimisation experience.

·       Data Modelling, Data warehousing SSAS Cube design experience beneficial.

·       Experience of Business Intelligence Markup Language (BIML) beneficial.

·       Experienced in writing and debugging C# code in SSIS Script components.

·       Well versed using GIT as Source Control Management tool.

·       Experience of Business Intelligence Markup Language (BIML) beneficial.

·       Able to work to tight deadlines and have a head to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement etl processes using microsoft ssis to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into sql server databases.
2. Create and maintain reports using sql server reporting services (ssrs) to visualize data and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
4. Monitor and optimize data integration jobs and reporting performance to ensure smooth operations.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data integration processes or reports.
6. Ensure data security and integrity throughout all data integration and reporting processes.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in microsoft sql server integration services (ssis) for designing and implementing etl processes.
2. Strong knowledge of sql server reporting services (ssrs) for creating and managing reports.
3. Experience with microsoft sql server and transact sql for data manipulation and querying.
4. Ability to analyze complex data sets and design efficient data flow processes.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Other Requirements

1.Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certification is preferred but not mandatory required.
