Job Summary

The Manufacturing Process Planning Designer plays a crucial role in creating and designing software solutions tailored to manufacturing processes. This role emphasizes the importance of understanding user needs and translating them into effective design specifications that enhance operational efficiency and product quality within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct Thorough Analysis Of User Needs And System Specifications By Employing Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes And Tools To Ensure Solutions Are Aligned With Project Requirements.
2. Develop Detailed Design Specifications And Documentation, Utilizing Manufacturing Planning Methodologies And Tools To Outline System Components And User Interfaces Effectively.
3. Create Prototypes To Illustrate The Functionality Of Software Solutions, Using Design Software And User Feedback To Iterate On Designs And Enhance Usability Based On Stakeholder Input.
4. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Employing Communication And Design Skills To Ensure Cohesive And User-Friendly Interfaces That Meet Manufacturing Process Criteria.

Skill Requirements

1. Basic Understanding Of Manufacturing Process Planning Principles.
2. Familiarity With Design Tools Such As Cad Software And Prototyping Tools.
3. Fundamental Knowledge Of User Experience (Ux) Design Concepts.
4. Understanding Of Documentation Standards And Practices Relevant To Software Design.

Other Requirements

1. Optional But Valuable: Certified Manufacturing Engineer (Cmfge) Or Related Certifications In Process Design And Planning.
