Jd: Role Title SharePoint Senior Developer Role Purpose The SharePoint Senior Developer will execute and support the tool‑based migration of SharePoint 2013 content to SharePoint Online, ensuring like‑to‑like fidelity, data integrity, and functional continuity. The role works under the guidance of the SharePoint Architect / Tech Lead and focuses on migration execution, validation, remediation, and go‑live support in line with client’s scope. Key Responsibilities Migration Execution Perform tool‑based migration of SharePoint 2013 site collections, subsites, lists, libraries, and documents to SharePoint Online. Execute incremental (delta) migrations and support cutover activities. Ensure migration follows the like‑to‑like approach with no functional enhancements. Workflow & Limited Custom Component Handling Support migration of simple SharePoint Designer workflows / approval workflows (limited and explicitly identified). Assist in minimal workflow remediation, if required, within scope constraints. Coordinate with the Architect / Tech Lead for any Power Automate alignment, where applicable. Validation & Quality Assurance Perform post‑migration validation, including: List and library item counts Permissions and access verification Page, form, and workflow verification Identify and remediate migration defects, broken links, or missing artifacts. Support UAT defect fixes and stabilization before Go‑Live. Remediation & Go‑Live Support Execute remigration or remediation for failed or partially migrated content. Support link correction and content reconciliation. Participate in Go‑Live, cutover, and hyper care (warranty) support activities. Delivery & Documentation Support Follow defined runbooks, scripts, and migration standards. Provide execution inputs for status reporting, validation logs, and handover documentation. Raise risks and blockers proactively to the Tech Lead / Architect. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills Strong hands‑on experience with SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online Practical experience with SharePoint migration tools (e.g., ShareGate or equivalent) Experience migrating lists, libraries, subsites, and workflows Understanding of permissions, content structures, and validation techniques Professional Experience 5–8 years of SharePoint development / migration experience Prior experience in large‑volume SharePoint content migrations Familiarity with Agile delivery models Ability to work in offshore delivery and sprint‑based
