JD: Role Title QA / Tester (SharePoint Migration) Role Purpose The QA / Tester will be responsible for migration validation and quality assurance during SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online transition. The role ensures that migrated content, workflows, permissions, and configurations are accurate, complete, and production‑ready, strictly adhering to the like‑to‑like, no‑customization scope defined in the client requirements. Key Responsibilities Migration Validation & Verification Execute post‑migration validation for: SharePoint sites, subsites, lists, libraries, and documents Item and document count reconciliation Permissions and access verification Page and navigation accessibility Validate migrated SharePoint Designer workflows (simple approvals only). Testing Support (Migration‑Centric) Perform system and integration testing of migrated SharePoint Online artifacts. Validate functional continuity between SharePoint 2013 (source) and SharePoint Online (target). Support parallel testing activities during migration sprints. Defect Logging & Remediation Validation Log migration defects related to: Missing or partially migrated content Permission mismatches Broken links or page issues Workflow validation failures Re‑test fixes after remigration or remediation by development teams. Ensure defect closure prior to Go‑Live. UAT & Go‑Live Support Support UAT execution led by client, providing validation evidence and defect verification as needed. Assist during delta migration and cutover validation. Support hyper care / warranty period testing and verification. QA Governance & Documentation Maintain test cases, validation checklists, and execution evidence. Update migration validation reports and test sign‑off inputs. Adhere to defined QA SOPs, runbooks, and escalation procedures. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills Good understanding of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online Experience in SharePoint migration validation / testing Knowledge of lists, libraries, permissions, pages, and workflows Familiarity with migration tools output and reconciliation reports Professional Experience 4–6 years of QA or migration testing experience Experience in enterprise SharePoint migration projects Exposure to UAT, Go‑Live, and warranty support phases Ability to work in offshore, Agile model engagements Key Deliverables Migration validation and verification reports Defect logs and retest
