Job Description: - Data Enablement Analyst- Pharma Industry

PI Analyst (Pharmaceutical Industry (AVEVA PI / OSIsoft PI, AF, Power BI, analytics) Role Summary The PI Analyst supports pharmaceutical manufacturing operations by leveraging OSIsoft PI (AVEVA PI System) and process-data analytics to optimize production performance, ensure data integrity, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities-

· Responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, and support of AVEVA PI System solutions (formerly OSIsoft PI) for real-time data projects.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of industrial data systems that enable operational insights and digital transformation.

· Design, configure, and implement AVEVA PI System components including PI Server, PI Asset PI framework (AF), PI Vision, PI Interfaces and Connectors

· Develop and maintain PI AF models, templates, hierarchies, calculations, and analytics to support business use cases.

· Design and deploy PI Vision dashboards for operations, engineering, and management teams.

· Perform system upgrades, patching, backup/restore, and architecture optimizations.

· Troubleshoot PI infrastructure issues including interfaces, connectors, AF performance, and data quality.

· Support data governance, security, and compliance across historian data pipelines.

· Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

· Produce technical documentation, configuration specifications, and design packages.

· Builds governed data models and datasets for analytics and reporting (Power BI).

· Designs and implements data pipelines, PI tags, AF templates, event frames, and calculations.

· Ensures data quality, metadata standards, naming conventions, and data governance.

· Develops dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations based on operational & business needs.

· Ensures secure access, data integrity, and (when needed) CSV/validation compliance.

· Troubleshoots data issues, monitors data flows, and maintains historian/BI performance.

· Ensure ALCOA+, Part 11, Annex 11 compliance.

· Proficiency in PI AF, PI Vision, PI Interfaces, and PI Data Archive

· Integrate equipment, SCADA/DCS, MES, and utilities into PI.

· Experience in Regulated pharmaceutical industry and GXP knowledge is a must
