Microsoft Power BI Senior Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Excel Automation Expert to build and improve complex Excel workbooks for business reporting, data analysis, and process automation. This role requires mastery of advanced Excel formulas, VBA programming, and the ability to design efficient, scalable solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Advanced Excel Development

  • Build professional Excel workbooks from scratch
  • Design efficient, user-friendly spreadsheet solutions
  • Create complex formulas using dynamic arrays and nested functions
  • Optimize large workbooks (100K+ rows) for speed and performance
  • Troubleshoot and debug existing spreadsheets
  • Improve efficiency of poorly designed workbooks

2. VBA & Automation

  • Develop VBA macros to automate repetitive tasks
  • Reduce manual data entry and human errors
  • Create interactive UserForms for data entry and validation
  • Implement event-driven programming (Worksheet_Change, Workbook_Open)
  • Build robust code with proper error handling
  • Schedule automated processes for off-peak execution

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Create interactive dashboards with KPIs and visualizations
  • Design dynamic reports using PivotTables and Pivot Charts
  • Consolidate and merge data from multiple files and sources
  • Build systems for automated monthly/weekly report generation
  • Develop data models for business intelligence

4. Data Integration

  • Build Power Query workflows to clean and transform data
  • Import and export CSV, Excel, XML, JSON files
  • Connect Excel to databases (SQL Server, Access, MySQL)
  • Create ADO/DAO connections for live data feeds
  • Integrate with APIs and web services

5. Documentation & Support

  • Create detailed documentation for developed solutions
  • Provide user training and support
  • Maintain version control for complex workbooks
  • Develop user guides and manuals

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in microsoft powerbi for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development.
2. Strong expertise in sql for database design, optimization, and querying.
3. Experience in leading technical teams and managing project deliveries.
4. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present technical solutions effectively.
5. Problem-solving aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
6. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities efficiently.

Other Requirements

1.Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Data Management and Analytics is preferred but not mandatory.
