Job Summary

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Project Lead with strong Power BI expertise to drive data and analytics projects. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end BI implementations, manage stakeholders, and ensure delivery of scalable, high-quality reporting solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Power BI projects from requirement gathering to deployment.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data models in Power BI.
  • Oversee data integration from multiple sources (SQL, cloud platforms, APIs, etc.).
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and performance optimization of BI solutions.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and team deliverables.
  • Guide and mentor team members (developers/analysts).
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Data Engineering, Business, IT).
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in data visualization and storytelling.
  • Drive stakeholder communication and provide regular project updates.

Skill Requirements

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Power BI (Desktop & Service).
  • Expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Exposure to Azure (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, etc.) or other cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of data visualization best practices.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end BI projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Other Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data governance and security models in Power BI.
  • Certification in Power BI / Microsoft Fabric / Azure is a plus.
