Job Summary

The PostgreSQL Administrator plays a crucial role in the Support & Operations team, responsible for independently managing and resolving support tickets, providing on-call assistance, and conducting root cause analyses to enhance customer satisfaction. This role is vital in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Adhere To Quality Standards And Regulatory Requirements By Implementing Best Practices In Postgresql Administration And Support Operations.
2. Provide On-Call Support For Escalated Issues, Performing Thorough Root Cause Analysis Using Postgresql Tools To Identify And Resolve Underlying Problems Effectively.
3. Update And Manage The Knowledge Base By Documenting Solutions And Creating Training Materials, While Also Coaching And Mentoring Analysts To Enhance Team Capabilities.
4. Independently Resolve Support Tickets Within The Agreed Service Level Agreements (Slas) For Ticket Volume And Resolution Time, Ensuring Timely And Effective Customer Service.
5. Enhance Customer Experience And Customer Satisfaction (Csat) Metrics By Achieving First Call Resolution And Minimizing Rejected Resolutions And Reopen Cases.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient In Postgresql Administration And Support Best Practices.
2. Strong Understanding Of Database Performance Tuning And Optimization.
3. Familiarity With Root Cause Analysis Methodologies And Troubleshooting Techniques In Postgresql.
4. Basic Knowledge Of Oracle Rac/Asm And Ms Sql For Complementary Support Activities.
5. Experience In Knowledge Management And Training Processes.
