Oracle Cloud EPM Lead consultant

Job Summary

The Lead Consultant for Oracle Hyperion will be responsible for managing and administering and upgrading the Hyperion version for the organization. This role involves overseeing the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the Oracle Hyperion, ensuring its alignment with business objectives and requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assess current Hyperion versions, database compatibility, and hardware capacity (DB & Windows).
  1. Validate DEV, TEST, and PROD environments and perform prerequisite checks for installation.
  2. Install and configure Hyperion 11.2+ across distributed environments.
  3. Migrate Hyperion schemas by importing backups into new databases.
  4. Reconfigure Hyperion 11.2+ in DEV, QA, and PROD using migrated schemas.
  5. Apply patches and upgrades (11.2.14 → 11.2.15 → 11.2.23) for HFM, Foundation, Essbase, and FDMEE.
  6. Configure MSAD/LDAP, integrations (FDMEE), load balancer, and LCM (exports/imports with access validation).
  7. Perform data validation, troubleshooting, sanity checks, version verification, and maintain documentation (runbooks, configs, guides).
  8. Configure SSL in Hyperion and ODI environments

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in Oracle Hyperion and its modules, including but not limited to administration, management, patching. 

2. Experience in implementing and supporting Oracle Hyperion solutions in an enterprise environment.

3. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and trends within the Oracle Hyperion platform.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and stakeholders. 

5. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Hyperion. 

6. Certification or training in Oracle Hyperion administration is preferred.
