Job Summary

The Track Lead is responsible for overseeing and leading the Linux, Oracle PL/SQL, and Oracle DBA teams. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the systems, and providing technical guidance to team members.

Task Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our application support team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python Django, Vue.js, Kafka, Apache Camel/Kamel, and PostgreSQL, along with exposure to container-based deployments on OpenShift. Additional working knowledge of FileNet and Oracle will be a strong advantage.
This role involves supporting mission-critical applications, troubleshooting production issues, providing L2/L3 support, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide L2/L3 production support for applications built on Python Django, Vue.js, Kafka, Apache Camel/Kamel, and PostgreSQL.
• Perform analysis, debugging, and resolution of complex technical issues in a 24/7 production environment (if applicable).
• Work closely with development teams to identify root causes and drive permanent fixes.
• Monitor application performance, logs, and message flows across Kafka topics, Camel routes, and backend services.
• Support deployments and operational activities on OpenShift including pod debugging, log tracing, and service monitoring.
• Handle data-related activities involving PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, including writing queries, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and guide the linux, oracle pl/sql, and oracle dba teams in their daily tasks and projects
2. Monitor and maintain the performance of linux systems and resolve any issues that arise
3. Develop and optimize pl/sql queries and procedures to enhance database performance
4. Install, configure, and upgrade oracle database software and ensure data security
5. Collaborate with other it teams to implement solutions and troubleshoot problems efficiently
6. Conduct regular system audits and provide recommendations for improvements
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security standards

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in linux system administration, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
2. Strong experience with oracle pl/sql development, including writing complex queries, procedures, and functions
3. In-depth knowledge of oracle database administration (dba) tasks such as installation, configuration, backup, and recovery
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
5. Strong communication skills and ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Linux, Oracle PL/SQL, or Oracle DBA would be a plus
