Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary

The Developer (Oracle PL/SQL) will be responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL scripts, packages, procedures, and functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and optimize complex sql queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions in oracle pl/sql.
2. Implement, and maintain database structures to support application requirements.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues and ensure data integrity.
4. Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and system architects to ensure database solutions meet business needs.
5. Perform unit testing and assist in system integration and user acceptance testing.
6. Document database development, and deployment processes.

Skill Requirements

1. Understanding of oracle pl/sql programming, including writing efficient queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
2. Knowledge of database concepts and ability to design normalized and efficient database schemas.
3. Familiarity with performance tuning, query optimization, and debugging database related issues.
4. Knowledge of database administration tasks such as backup/recovery, security management, and database monitoring.
5. Familiarity with version control systems and database deployment tools.
6. Good problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Other Requirements

1.Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Oracle PL/SQL Developer certification is preferred.
